Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission released the result of direct recruitment on 68 posts of Medical Officer Grade-2 Radiologist on Thursday. Only four candidates have been declared selected. Due to non-availability of candidates, 64 posts remained vacant. At the same time, the result of six posts of Assistant Professor Pathology in Government Medical Colleges has also been declared.

Out of 68 posts of Radiologist, 25 posts were reserved for unreserved, 20 posts for Other Backward Classes, 15 posts for Scheduled Castes, seven posts for EWS and one post for Scheduled Tribe candidates. The interview was held on February 16 for recruitment to these posts. Only four candidates have been selected in the unreserved category.

According to Vivek Kumar Srivastava, Deputy Secretary of the commission, 21 posts of unreserved category, 20 of other backward classes, 15 of scheduled caste, one of scheduled tribe category and seven posts of EWS remained vacant due to non-availability of candidates, which are to be re-advertised. has been recommended.

On the other hand, Harshita Baranwal, Garima Dwivedi, Vinita Paswan, Amod Kumar Saroj, Shaila Maurya and Mohammad Rafe have been declared selected under the direct recruitment for six posts of Assistant Professor Pathology in Government Medical Colleges. The interview was held on 14 and 15 February for recruitment to these posts. Of these, three posts are unreserved, two posts are reserved for Other Backward Classes and one post is reserved for Scheduled Castes.
