On Thursday, a girl accused of gang-rape created ruckus at the gate of Sungarhi police station in Pilibhit. He thrust the blade into his throat. Barely the women constables overpowered her and admitted her to the district hospital. The girl came with her father. He alleged that the police was trying to send his family to jail in a false case.
On March 6, a girl from Sungarhi area had consumed poisonous substance outside the office of ADG Bareilly. He had accused some people of gang rape. He said that his report was not registered in the police station. After this, on the instructions of the ADG, a case was registered on behalf of the victim’s mother in Sungarhi police station under the sections of gang rape. In this case, the girl who created ruckus, her father and others have been made accused. Both the girls study together.
Accused side said- clean chit has been found in the previous investigation
During the ruckus on Thursday, the accused side had said that in the past the circle level officers had investigated the complaint, in which they had got a clean chit. Now the police is taking action under pressure. The police made statements of the victim in the court. After this, action was started regarding the arrest of the accused.
