UP has old relations with Nepal. These relationships are both economic and religious. To further strengthen them, Nepal Embassy in New Delhi organized a program in Lucknow on Wednesday. Its objective was to explore new possibilities of Indo-Nepal economic cooperation.
In the program, Nepal’s Ambassador to India Dr. Shankar Prasad Sharma said that the many agreements signed between India and Nepal have greatly strengthened the relations.
There are immense possibilities of doing business between the two countries in tourism business and other trade business. Minister Tara Nath Adhikari gave an important presentation of his country on the investment, trade and tourism prospects in Nepal. He invited entrepreneurs and representatives of the Chamber to visit the Nepal Investment Summit to be held on 28 and 29 April 2024.
Engineer DP Singh, President of the Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, said that being the neighboring state of Nepal, UP is an important sector in tourism business, commercial trade, agriculture related business, irrigation projects, solar energy projects, education and exchange programs.
