UPSC To Release Civil Service Prelims Result 2024 Soon: Candidates are eagerly waiting for the results of the Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Preliminary Exam. Let us tell you that UPSC CSE Pre Exam was conducted on 16th June. On this day the exam was conducted in two shifts. Talking about the total marks, the exam was of 400 marks and objective time multiple choice questions were asked in it. One paper i.e. Paper 1 was of General Studies and the other paper was Paper 2 or General Studies Paper 2.

Two hours were given to solve both the exams and there is negative marking in the exam. Both the exams were of 200 marks each and a total of 400 marks. The first paper had 100 questions of 200 marks and the second paper had 80 questions of 200 marks. The second paper i.e. GS Paper II is qualifying and to pass it, candidates have to score at least 33 percent marks.

  • To check the UPSC CSE Pre exam results after their release, first visit the official website i.e. upsc.gov.in.
  • Here on the homepage, you will see a link which will say – Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) Civil Services Preliminary Result 2024. Click on it.
  • By doing this, a new page will open, on which you will have to enter your login details.
  • Enter the details and click on submit button.
  • After doing this, the results will appear on your computer screen.
  • Check them from here, download them and take a printout for future reference.
  • This will be useful for you in future. Candidates who will pass the pre-examination will have to appear for the next stage exam i.e. the mains exam.
  • Interview will be conducted after the Mains. The selection of the candidates who pass all three stages will be final.
  • Also know that the pre-exam is only qualifying, it has no role in merit but without passing it you cannot proceed further.
  • After this the mains and interview are conducted. The final merit is prepared on the basis of these two exams.
