After which she has been transferred from Pune to Washim in Maharashtra. Her father is also a retired officer and has also tried his hand in politics. Pooja Khedkar had secured 821st rank in the UPSC exam. Various recruitment drives are conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. The biggest of which is the Civil Services exam. Every year lakhs of candidates appear in this exam but only a few candidates are able to succeed in the exam. Many times candidates with less marks get selected. While candidates with more marks are left out. In such a situation, the candidates who are selected get the benefit of the quota.
According to reports, Pooja Khedkar had said in her affidavit to UPSC that she has ‘visual impairment’. Apart from this, she is mentally ill. But when it was time for medical test after selection, she did not appear for it. According to the rules, a mentally ill person can also become an officer or get a government job. The quota also affects the cut off. The cut off is also different for different categories.

- Scheduled Tribes (ST)- 7.5%

How to apply?
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) There is no separate portal or form for reservation for . Candidates have to select their respective category in the IAS application form. While filling the form, candidates should make sure that they have all the required documents and you will have to submit them for verification during DAF I and personality test. Note that category once submitted cannot be changed under any circumstances.
