There was a good atmosphere for studies in the house of Pratiksha, a resident of Latur, Maharashtra. He studied till class 12 from Latur. After this, she did B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Pune. Even after completing B.Tech, she did not get a job. Selection was not done only on this number

Prateeksha started appearing for UPSC exam in 2015 in which she was not successful. After this, success eluded him in the 2016-2017 exams also. She was successful in passing the UPSC exam in 2018 but could not get selected by four marks, despite this she did not lose courage. Then she took the exam in 2019.

Took a break of 3 years

Amidst the failures, in 2018 he decided to join the State Forest Service. Gave Maharashtra State Forest Examination in 2018 in which he got success in the first attempt. In 2019, he was sent for 2 years training at the Central Academy for State Forest Service, Coimbatore. In 2019, Pratiksha had to appear for the UPSC Indian Forest Service IFS exam. She passed the prelims but during the mains, she fell ill and got dengue. The doctor advised her to take rest while her family members asked her to leave the exam. But she didn’t listen to anyone. She appeared for the mains exam and got success in the exam. She also reached the interview but could not be selected in the final list.

Got second rank

While undergoing training for Maharashtra Forest Service, Pratiksha kept preparing for UPSC IFS. Pratiksha became an IFS officer by getting second rank in the UPSC exam of 2023.
