Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) Success Story: The financial condition was very bad. Due to which she started teaching tuition at home. Gave all the exams from CDS to Haryana PCS. Father’s health deteriorated so much that he had to be admitted to the ICU. Suffered the sting of depression, even the thought of suicide started coming to mind. Neither any friend nor anyone close to support. But there was a passion in the mind to become the support of the family. Due to which Taskeen Khan succeeded in UPSC exam after failing in many attempts and became an officer.

Taskeen Khan, who once won the title of Miss Uttarakhand, is now on a mission to serve the country. She has secured All India 736th rank in the UPSC Civil Services Examination of the year 2022. She got this success at a young age and it is a source of inspiration for many youths. Taskeen says that she was not very interested in studies from the beginning and was especially afraid of mathematics. But she has achieved this position with her hard work and dedication. She had scored more than 90 percent marks in the science stream in class 10 and 12 board exams.

In an interview, Taskeen Khan tells that she gave the engineering entrance exam during 12th but the financial condition was so bad that she could not join any college at that time. The family came to Meerut in 2018. Being the eldest daughter of the house, a lot of responsibility was on her. She started preparing for a government job from 2019, to pay for which she started teaching tuition at home. She came to know about UPSC through a social media platform.

Pass the exam in 2022

After this, Taskeen started preparing for the UPSC exam. In 2019, she passed the High Committee of India exam and got a scholarship. After preparing, she passed the first paper but could not pass the next paper due to weak mathematics. Then she cleared the entrance exam of Jamia Millia Islamia. Took coaching from there. After this, she also gave many different exams. In the year 2022, when the UPSC prelims came closer, the father’s health deteriorated so much that he had to be admitted to the ICU.

Taskeen Khan appeared for the exam after a lot of confusion and also cleared the prelims. But the mains exam was still pending and he faced a lot of difficulties while preparing for it, due to which he even started thinking about suicide. But he overcame all those problems and cracked the exam. Today Taskeen is an IRMS officer.
