Anshika, a resident of Delhi, lost both her parents at the age of five. Anshika grew up listening to her grandmother’s stories, which talked about the importance of education and its usefulness to the society. Anshika, who did B.Com from Ramjas College, Delhi University, started preparing for UPSC along with M.Com. Immediately after his graduation, he got a good job in one of the largest multinational companies of the country, but he left it and decided to move ahead with his CSE preparation.

Anshika says- Grandma did not want me to give up that dream.

Anshika lost her grandmother in 2019. Then she was preparing for UPSC CSE. This was one of the most difficult times of his life. She is deeply saddened that her grandmother could not see her dream come true. He started his preparations once again. She said that she never wanted me to give up that dream. I am happy that I have finally fulfilled his dream.

Cracked UPSC for the fifth time

Anshika was not very clear about her preparation in the initial phase. His uncles, cousins ​​and friends guided him throughout and helped him at every step. Eventually he changed his strategy and practiced as many mocks as possible in all three rounds of the exam. He chose Commerce and Accountancy as optional subjects because I had general interest in these subjects. Besides, there was also a basic idea regarding these.

Anshika has been doing gratitude journalism since a young age. In the interview round, the panelists were impressed by this word and asked him in detail about it. He was also asked about the last article he wrote in his magazine. Anshika’s hard work and dedication paid off as she secured 306th rank in UPSC CSE 2022 in her fifth attempt. From this he got Indian Police Service i.e. IPS. Presently Anshika is now working in those areas which need attention and development.
