A case of murder of a newly married woman and disappearance of her body has come to light from Mirampur village of Raghopur police station area of ​​Vaishali district of Bihar. In this matter, the brother of the newlywed has lodged a written complaint at Raghopur police station. It is alleged in it that due to non-payment of dowry of Rs 2.5 lakh, our sister’s in-laws murdered her and made her body disappear. Sukesh Kumar, resident of Baharampur Panchayat, has filed a written complaint in the police station accusing him of murdering his sister and hiding the body.

Sukesh Kumar, brother of the deceased, said in the complaint that his in-laws murdered his sister for not giving Rs 2.5 lakh in dowry and made the body disappear. Sukesh has accused his sister’s husband and in-laws and others including his father-in-law of murder. He has expressed apprehension that due to non-payment of dowry, the said people committed murder and made the body disappear.

According to the information, Devendra Rai, resident of Baharampur Panchayat, married his daughter Aarti Kumari to Santosh Rai, son of Rudal Rai, resident of Mirampur of Mohanpur Panchayat of Raghopur police station area, on 12 February. The girl’s family had also given dowry to their daughter during the marriage.

Aarti’s brother told that on February 12, his sister Aarti Kumari was married to Santosh Kumar, a resident of Mirampur, as per Hindu customs with great pomp and show. He told that after marriage the in-laws were demanding Rs 2.5 lakh. Due to non-fulfillment of their demands, the said people murdered our sister and made her body disappear. He told that we have full confidence that all the above mentioned people have murdered our sister because of dowry and made the body disappear. He told that after the incident, all the in-laws were absconding from the house and the house was locked.

Here, Raghopur Police Station President Pankaj Kumar said that the matter is being investigated on the basis of the application.
