Vaishali Thakkar Suicide Case: In the case of suicide of famous TV actress Vaishali Thakkar, the district court on Thursday granted bail to the main accused Rahul Navlani. After his arrest in this case, Rahul Navlani was in jail for the last three months. An officer of the prosecution gave this information.
Because of this Rahul Navlani got bail
Sessions Judge Dharmendra Soni accepted the bail plea of Rahul Navlani after considering the arguments of both the sides. Rahul’s lawyer Rahul Pethe told the media that during the arguments in the court on the petition, he said that the police have not been able to present any electronic evidence against his client so far. On the other hand, according to a prosecution lawyer, he argued in the court that considering the serious nature of the crime, the main accused should not be given the benefit of bail.
Rahul accused of harassing Vaishali
A police official told that Rahal Navlani was arrested on October 19, 2022. He told that Vaishali Thakkar and Rahul Navlani were neighbors in Indore. Vaishali Thakkar was about to step into a happy life by marrying a man, but Rahul, who was already married, was allegedly harassing her to stop the marriage of the actress.
Vaishali’s dead body was found hanging in the house
Vaishali Thakkar, who became famous for her performance in the show ‘Sasural Simar Ka’, was found hanging on October 15, 2022 on the ceiling fan of her house in Indore. Police had received a five-page suicide note from the spot, in which Vaishali had accused Rahul of harassing her.
Rahul Navlani’s wife got anticipatory bail
Significantly, in this case Disha, wife of Rahul Navlani, is also a co-accused. The police had declared a reward of Rs 5,000 on the arrest of Disha, who was absconding after Vaishali’s suicide. However, the police had failed to arrest Disha. The district court had granted anticipatory bail to Disha on November 17, 2022.
