On December 30, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Amrit Bharat Vande Bharat Express train going from Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station to Anand Bihar Terminal in Ayodhya. This is the third Vande Bharat Express train to run on the Delhi-Howrah railway track. Vande Bharat Express reached Delhi from Ayodhya via Aligarh via Anand Vihar.
This train reached platform number seven of Aligarh station. Where the local travelers under the leadership of Mayor Prashant Singhal and MLC Manvendra Pratap Singh gave an enthusiastic welcome amidst drums and bandwagons. Here the crew of Vande Bharat was welcomed with flower garlands and sweets were also served. The winning children of the competition organized on Vande Bharat theme were also awarded.
When the train reached the station, there was a competition to make videos and take selfies with mobile phones. The travelers were dancing on the drums. However, most of the people were disappointed due to the train not stopping at Aligarh. He said that if this train had a stoppage in Aligarh also, the people here would have benefited from it.
On this occasion, Additional Divisional Railway Manager Sanjay Singh, Chief Traffic Manager Amit Sudarshan were present as representatives of the District Panchayat President. Sheoraj Singh, Sanjay Pandit, Station Superintendent Mukesh Kumar Upadhyay, CMI Sanjay Shukla, Deputy SS Rajababu, Paurush Vashishtha, Vishvendra Singh, RPF Post Commander Rajeev Verma, GRP Sushil Kumar etc. were present.
