Everyone called the suspension of the students and other actions wrong. Accusing the university administration of suppressing democratic values, demanded to withdraw the action and adopt a sensitive attitude towards the students.

Students celebrated Black Day by tying black bands at Lanka Gate, various Faculties, Institutes, Departments, Cyber Library, Central Library, Vishwanath Temple. Students doing satyagraha peacefully against the university administration say that suspension of students fighting against corruption is not justified.
Earlier, BHU Bachao Sangharsh Samiti had distributed pamphlets in departments and faculties regarding suspension of students, fee hike and other issues in BHU. Information was given by the committee to celebrate Black Day on Wednesday. In the pamphlet, many questions related to the recent issues of BHU have been asked to the administration.
The students said that the protest will continue till the BHU administration withdraws the suspension as well as accepts other demands. If the demands are not met, then the outline of the big movement will be decided.
A suspension order has also been issued by the university administration on December 12. Apart from Mrityunjay Tiwari, the names of Vaibhav Kumar Tiwari, a research student in Pali and Buddhist philosophy, Ashirwad Dubey, a student of the Department of Economics, are included.
