In Niyar Bazar of Danganj Cholapur police station area in Varanasi, there was fierce fighting and stone pelting between the two parties near the police booth late on Friday evening. After the stampede, local businessmen closed their shops and fled. The matter calmed down when the police reached the spot. The Cholapur police took information about the incident from both the sides.

The police station chief told about registering a case on the basis of Tahrir in the case. The driver of the car was going after turning off the lights of the vehicle, in the meantime some young man asked to light the lights. Due to this, fierce fighting started on both the sides and bricks and stones went fiercely. The women sitting in the car somehow came out after saving their lives. During the fight, the glasses of the car were broken and damaged.

Immediately on the information of the incident, the police of Ajgra Chowki reached. In front of whom bricks and stones kept walking. Nearby shops closed. On information, the SHO Cholapur reached Niyar with the police force. Took information about the matter from Pradha Narasimha Goswami of Gauri present there. People were angry and said that a case will be registered on the basis of Tahrir. The atmosphere of panic in Niyar Bazar regarding the incident remained till late night. Policemen and some people were also injured in the brawl.

Police booth remains closed

A police booth was set up in Niyar Bazar to improve the security arrangements of the three districts. On which wireless facility has also been provided. But there is no presence of police constable at the police booth. Due to the closure of police booths, miscreants dominate the market. Controversies keep happening in Niyar Bazaar every day.
