SOG and Cantt police station have arrested five accused who stole money from the bank accounts of common people by changing debit cards and dropping Feviquick in ATMs. The accused have been identified as Joginder Singh, Salman Khan, Vijay Kumar and Harsh Chauhan of Shahpur Kala under Khurja police station of Bulandshahr district and Dushyant Chaudhary of Asafpurnar. 66 debit cards, Rs 11,000, one car and five mobile phones were recovered from the five.

DCP Varuna Zone Amit Kumar said that information was received regarding people committing fraud by traveling by car in different cities. SOG in-charge Manish Kumar Mishra and his team Inspector Aditya Kumar Mishra, Head Constable Brahmdev Singh, Surveillance Cell Inspector Amit Yadav and Inspector Cantt Ajay Raj Verma arrested the five near Varuna Bridge on Central Jail Road. The accused were produced in the court and sent to jail.

During interrogation, the accused told that they used to commit fraud by changing the debit cards after knowing the PIN on the pretext of helping in the ATM room. Apart from this, Feviquick was installed wherever the debit card was installed. Due to this the card gets stuck. When the person concerned with all the debit cards went to call the guard, he used to take out the debit card by applying premium white glue there. According to the five accused, they used to have fun with the money they got by committing fraud for three years. In the same sequence, he also came to Banaras, but was caught.
