Fire Broke In Lyon City: A fire broke out on Friday morning in a residential building in Vaulux-en-Velin, near the French city of Lyon. In which 10 people lost their lives. Among those 10 people, 5 were children. The administration of the Lyon/Rhône region said that the fire was reported at 3.12 in the morning, after which 170 firefighters and 65 fire engines were present at the scene around 3.25.
Although the fire has been brought under control. Emergency services said the fire broke out in a seven-storey apartment block in the Mas du Toureau neighbourhood. The condition of four other people is critical in the incident, while 10 others, including two firefighters, have been injured. Officials also said that at present the cause of the fire has not been ascertained.
What did the French administration say?
French Interior Minister Gerald Darminin said he was in constant contact with President Emmanuel Macron and promised to find out the cause of the fire. Darminin said that we do not know the cause of the fire, although there can be many reasons for it. He further said that a thorough investigation will be done into the matter. Let us tell you that some of the victims in the incident were even three years old.

Housing Minister Olivier Klein also said he had spoken to Helene Geoffroy, the mayor of Valx-en-Velin, and would visit the town. He tweeted that “I am going to meet residents, local authorities and emergency services this morning.

One resident told French broadcaster BMF TV: “I cry thinking about the victims of the fire.” Another neighbor told that he lives at a distance of 100 meters from that building. We heard the screams of children which opened our eyes. When we opened the windows, we saw smoke coming out and so we immediately went downstairs. The man, identified as Sarem, said neighbors reached the spot with a ladder and helped evacuate the people living on the first floor.
