‘Veda’ Movie Review: John Abraham’s tremendous comeback with this action packed film

Before watching ‘Veda’, many questions were arising in the mind. I was thinking repeatedly whether John Abraham will be seen in his old characters this time too, because after watching the trailer it seemed something like this, but this time he proved me wrong. ‘Veda’ will definitely remind you of one of his old films ‘Rocky Handsome’, but this film is quite different from that. The kind of character John has played in the film is praiseworthy.

So let’s first talk about the story of the film. This time John has come up with a completely fresh story, in which he is playing the role of an army major Abhimanyu Kanwar, but due to some reason he is expelled from the army due to court martial. You will see Tamanna Bhatia (Rashi) in the role of his wife, but during an army operation, Rashi is killed by terrorists. After being expelled from the army and after the murder of Rashi, Abhimanyu comes to live in his wife’s house. The whole story is based on Rajasthan. The main theme of the film is casteism, where people of higher castes are shown exploiting people of lower castes.

‘Khel Khel Mein’ movie review: Akshay Kumar is back with comedy and emotion

Sharvari is playing the role of Veda, a village girl who belongs to a lower caste but wants to become a boxer. But the village head Jitendra Pratap Singh (Abhishek Banerjee) does not want this to happen. He oppresses the people of the lower caste. He gets Veda’s sister and brother killed and wants to kill Veda too, but Veda gets Abhimanyu’s support. Abhimanyu helps Veda. You are going to like this movie very much.

Now there are some questions, will Abhimanyu be able to save Veda’s life? Why was Abhimanyu kicked out of the army? For all these answers, you will have to go to the theatres and watch the entire film. By the way, this time John will win your heart. Talking about acting, you will see Abhishek Banerjee as the main villain in the film. What an amazing negative role he has played. At the same time, you will like the acting of Sharvari, Abhishek Banerjee, Tamannaah Bhatia and all the star cast along with John.

On the other hand, when it comes to direction, Nikhil Advani is second to none. He has shot every scene of the film with great precision. He has given a new lease of life to John. By the way, John himself is the producer of this film. The first half of the film may bore you a bit, because the speed here is a bit low, due to which the film becomes slow, but as soon as the second half comes, the film picks up the pace again and then does not give you a chance to even get up from the seat.

You will like the music of Amaal Malik and Manan Bhardwaj. Along with action, a lot of emotions have been added in the film. Many times you become so emotional that your eyes start getting moist. You can watch this film with the whole family. This is a full entertaining film, so from my side this film gets 3.5 stars.
