Veg Fish Fry: Vegetarians can also enjoy Veg Fish Fry, here is the recipe


Fish Fry is a crispy and delicious recipe, which is very much liked as a snack or starter. However, it is not necessary that every person eats non-veg. At such times he feels himself outside the party. If you are also one of those who do not eat non-vegetarian, but feel alone among others, then next time you attend a home party, you can invite your friends or a non-vegetarian at your home. Ingredients for Veg Fish Fry

2 cups boiled soya chunks

2 raw bananas

1/2 boiled potatoes

2 green chillies

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

1 tsp coriander powder

1 tbsp Garam masala

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp black pepper powder 

Salt to taste

3 tbsp lemon juice

4 tbsp oil

For coating:

1½ Cup semolina/rava

2 cups rice flour

1 tbsp chilli powder 

Salt as per taste

How to make Veg Fish Fry ?

1. Add boiled soya chunks, ginger-garlic paste and green chillies in a mixer. Blend them until they become crumbly and all the ingredients are combined. Take it out in a plate.

2. Now take raw, peeled banana and boiled potatoes and add them to the mixture of soya chunks. Add spices- coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder and salt. Make sure everything is mixed well.

3. Take a small portion of the mixture with dry hands and shape it into a fish. Make a hole in the middle. Do the same with the remaining mixture.

4. Take rava, rice flour, chilli powder and salt in another plate. Now take a fish shaped cutlet and apply some oil on it. Wrap it with rava mixture.

5. Take a pan and add oil in it. After it gets hot, gently pour the coated rava on it. Make sure not to touch the cutlet for at least a minute otherwise it will disintegrate.

6. After a minute or two, gently flip the cutlet so that it gets cooked evenly from both sides. Keep doing this until the cutlets become golden and crisp.

7. Garnish it with chopped coriander and mint leaves. And that’s it, your Veg Fish Fry is ready to serve!
