Veg Manchurian Recipe: Chinese food dish Veg Manchurian has become quite famous in our country as street food. Veg Manchurian is preferred among children. Ingredients to make Veg Manchurian
Corn flour – 1 cup
Cauliflower chopped – 1 cup
Carrot grated – 1 cup
Cabbage chopped – 2 cups
Onion chopped – 1
Garlic chopped – 1 tsp
Capsicum chopped – 1
Soya sauce – 2 tsp
Tomato sauce – 2 tbsp
Chili sauce – 1 tsp
Vinegar – 1 tsp
Ginger grated – 1 tsp
Black pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
Sugar – 1/2 tsp
Green chili chopped – 2-3
Chopped green onions – 1/4 cup
Green coriander leaves chopped – 3-4 tbsp
Oil – for frying
salt – as per taste

Veg Manchurian Recipe
To make Veg Manchurian, first cut all the vegetables into fine pieces. Now put water in a vessel and keep it for boiling. When the water starts boiling, put chopped cauliflower, carrot, capsicum and cabbage in it. Boil these vegetables till all become soft. After this, turn off the gas and let the vegetables cool down. Then take out the vegetables from the water and keep them aside. Take out the water in a bowl as well.

Now put all the boiled vegetables in a big bowl. Add corn flour to it and mix it well. Then add finely chopped green chillies, soya sauce, black pepper powder, green coriander leaves and salt as per taste and mix everything properly by adding little water. After this, taking the prepared mixture in hand, make small balls out of it and keep it in a plate.

Now put oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. When the oil becomes hot, put Manchurian balls in it and fry them till they turn golden brown and then take them out in a vessel. Now to make Manchurian sauce, heat some oil in another pan and add green chillies, green onions, ginger and garlic and fry them. When the onion becomes soft, add soya sauce, tomato sauce and cook it.
After cooking the onion mixture for some time, mix 2 tablespoons of corn flour in it and dissolve it by adding the boiled water of the previously stored vegetables. Now cook this mixture till it starts boiling. When the solution starts boiling, add sugar, chili sauce, vinegar and salt as per taste and mix it. Now lower the flame and let it cook for 5 more minutes, then add Manchurian balls and mix and turn off the gas. Tasty Veg Manchurian is ready.
