Report: Amit Singh
Prayagraj: A strange case has been seen in Tardih village of Phulpur, the parliamentary constituency of the country’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. There was a Peepal tree about 200 years old in this village, which the villagers used to worship giving the status of ‘Veer Baba’. A week ago this tree caught fire by itself. In a hurry, the fire brigade was informed. On reaching the spot, the fire department extinguished the fire and controlled it.
The special thing is that after the fire was extinguished, it caught fire again on the second day. Once again the bell of the fire engine starts ringing in the village. It is surprising when even after extinguishing the fire for the second time, the fire starts for the third time also. In this process, the fire department also seems very upset. The same villagers believe that there is a divine miracle in this process. Wrestler Veer Baba is angry about something and this fire will continue to burn until he is pacified.
Strong storm came when the tree fell
Till now you must have seen in films that thunderstorms occur when a tree falls at a religious place, but we got to see this incident in this village. Dharmendra Rawat, a resident of Tardih village, told that on the day the tree fell down after breaking from its original form, there was a fierce storm and storm in the village. Call it a coincidence or a miracle, but soon after the tree burst, strong winds started blowing and its speed kept increasing.
Three tankers run out of water in a week
The driver of the fire brigade told that on February 17, Sunil Pandey informed him at around 7 pm that a tree in his village was on fire. Taking immediate action on the information, the team reached the spot and found control of the fire. Just a few hours after the incident, information is received again in the morning that the fire is about to take a fierce form again. The work of extinguishing the fire was done again the next day. On February 22, Sunil again informed that the fire has not yet been extinguished. We can say that during this process about three tankers of water has been spent to extinguish one tree. Hope it is fully resolved now.
Peepal tree is 150 years old
This Peepal tree used to be the center of faith among the villagers. For any auspicious work, devotees and farming class used to worship here from time to time. The resident of the village ‘Mukhiya Baba’ told that this tree is more than one and a half hundred years old. We the people of the village have deep faith in this. Frequent incidents of fire definitely lead us to suspect that our Veer Baba is angry about something.
