Vipul Amritlal Shah revealed in a conversation that, ‘I was waiting outside Amitabh sir’s van, wondering how to introduce myself to him. When Amitabh sir came, he asked me, ‘Vipul what are you doing here? I was surprised to know that he remembered me even after a year.’
Amitabh Bachchan agreed in 15 minutes
Vipul further said, ‘I thought it would be a long process, but he just listened to my script. I was a little scared that I might upset him because I was going to give him the role of a villain.’ According to Vipul, Big B agreed to this role after reading the script for 15 minutes.
The film made at a cost of 17 crores earned more than 33 crores
Let us tell you that the film ‘Aankhen’ was released in the year 2002. Stars like Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Sushmita Sen, Paresh Rawal and Aditya Pancholi also worked in it. The film was made on a budget of Rs 17 crore. Whereas the film earned almost double at the box office (Rs 33.8 crore).
