A leopard was seen in the banana field of Ankit Mishra, a resident of Semri village of Dhaurahra range. When the labourers working in the field saw the leopard, they started shouting and ran away from there. The people present in the field made a video of the leopard and made it viral on social media. The local people informed the forest department about this.
Leopard activities in Jangpur village
The leopard was also seen drinking water in a pond near Jangpur village. The villagers immediately informed the forest department about this. Forest inspector Anil Kumar reached the spot and confirmed the presence of a leopard after examining the pugmarks. He burst firecrackers in the surrounding fields and appealed to the people to be cautious.

The villagers are shocked and troubled
