In fact, a video was made of the child who went to Dhar police station to complain. It was made viral on social media. Although people are watching it with fun, but legal experts have said that the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children Act) law is violated in this case. According to High Court lawyer Krishna Kumar Kunhare, Sapna Prajapat, a resident of Vidur Nagar, who is a social worker associated with the field of law, has filed a complaint in the case.
According to the complaint, a few days ago it was learned from social media that a victim child had come to the police station under Manawar Police Station of Dhar district with a complaint against his father, on which a video was made of asking the name of the minor child in the police station itself and knowing the entire incident from the child and the said video was made viral on social media with the intention of garnering applause.
this video is objectionable
In the video, along with showing the face of the child, his identity including his name and address was also revealed, which is a serious matter and is also a violation of the prohibition of identification of children in Section 74 Juvenile Justice (Protection of Child Care) Act and is also contrary to the efforts being made by the Madhya Pradesh government for the welfare of children and public awareness of the law. In the video, the child was made to remove his slippers outside the police station, which is objectionable. The above incident not only revealed the identity of the child, but also exposed the acts being committed by the father in the child’s family. If the child is studying, he will have to face discomfort in his class and school due to his identity being revealed above. Therefore, it was said to remove this video from all platforms.
CWC will investigate
According to Administrator of Women and Child Development, Vachna Singh, in the case of any minor or woman, the media, administrative officers and her own family cannot reveal her identity. This is a violation of the law and is completely wrong. In such a case, CWC can take cognizance. At the same time, the court or the senior officer of the place where this video was made can take cognizance in this.
