Trump’s ‘Vision 2024’

After winning the Republican Party’s presidential nomination from Iowa, Donald Trump told what he would do if he becomes President. Trump said, “We will close the borders. Right now our country is under attack.”

What is a caucus?

In a way, caucus is like a local meeting. This is organized at the local level. Such events take place in public places like school gym, town hall. In this meeting, party members come together and choose the national candidates of the party. Although its process is not so easy, it is a bit complicated to understand. The party members gathered in the caucus do not directly elect the presidential candidate but rather they elect delegates. These delegates vote in favor of the candidates. However, in many American states, primary elections are held instead of ballots and candidates are selected on that basis.
