A builder is secretly digging the basement in Bhairo Bazaar in Belanganj. He has dug down to about 10 feet. This has also posed a threat to the nearby houses. At around four o’clock on Monday evening, the wall of the temple collapsed. Mahant Didarnath of the temple told that the builder in the market is getting the basement excavated at night with the connivance of the police administration. A major accident could have happened in the temple today.

After getting information about the incident, Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay also reached there. He took information from Mahant. After this he said that the police station and administration are responsible for the illegal construction. If excavation is taking place on such a large scale then why are ADA officials not aware of it? He said that the administration should investigate the matter and take action against the builder, otherwise no one will be able to stop an accident like Tila Maithan from happening. During this, MLA Purushottam Khandelwal, Mandal President Dheeraj Jain, Deepu Khandelwal etc. were present.
