Actually, chicken prepared in the traditional way is generally available in every non-veg hotel. But Champaran Meat House located on Nauana Kachari Road in Supaul city is famous for making Chicken Seekh Kebab. Where youth come from far and wide to taste it.
Manoj Kumar, director of Champaran Meat House, says that he has been making chicken seekh kebab in Nauana Kachari Road of the city for the last four years. About 12 kg of chicken seekh kebab is sold daily. He has called artisans from outside to make it. Who brings chicken every morning, grinds it and cleans it properly. After this, the chicken is mixed with salt, turmeric, coriander, chilli, curd, mustard oil and secret masala and kept in the fridge to marinate for two hours. Then the chicken is placed on a skewer and cooked on low flame of coal with butter for 20 to 25 minutes.
Eight pieces chicken for Rs 200
He explains that customers are given eight boneless pieces in a plate. Whose price is Rs 200. Whereas four pieces of chicken are given in half plate for Rs 100. Along with this, coriander-mint chutney and salad of onion, carrot, radish, lemon and tomato is given. He told that people come from far and wide to eat at his place. Due to this, sales worth Rs 10 thousand are made every day.
