UP Weather: The weather has taken a turn several times in the month of March. There may be a break in the pace of minimum temperature increasing since last few days. The weather is likely to take a turn once again from March 19. Although this change may provide some relief from the heat, there is also a possibility of damage to the wheat crop.
According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of western disturbance will be visible in the next few days. The weather will be overall clear in the second week of March, but there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in some districts of Eastern UP from March 19. According to the Meteorological Department, due to this change in weather due to western disturbance, there will be no significant impact on the districts of western UP and the weather will remain dry here. Although the weather in Eastern UP will remain hot from March 15 to March 19, there is a possibility of rain after March 19. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain at many places in the state on March 20 also.
The mercury is rising rapidly
The minimum temperature has been increasing rapidly in the last few days. To deal with the rising temperatures at night, people have started running fans. Yesterday, minimum temperature was recorded at 16.7 ℃ in Agra, 16.4 ℃ in Aligarh, 14 ℃ in Meerut and 13.6 ℃ in Muzaffarnagar. In most of the districts of the state, the minimum temperature will increase to 20 ℃ by the end of the third week of March, whereas in the last week of March, the maximum day temperature is expected to reach 40 ℃ and the minimum temperature is expected to reach 25 ℃.
Wheat crop will be affected
According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of rain since March 19, due to which wheat farmers are very worried. The scorching heat of the past few days had also proved to be quite harmful for the wheat crop. Now the fear of rain has worried the farmers.
