What does a YouTuber or Influencer do with a phone after reviewing it? Do you sell it?

It is a digital era and everything is superfast in this digital era. Today, before launching any smartphone, companies give it to YouTuber or Influencer so that its hype can be created among the people. Even before the launch of the mobile phone, people get to know all the information about the smartphone through YouTuber and Influencer. After knowing the details of the smartphone, the question remains in the mind of many people that what would YouTubers or Influencers do with this device after reviewing the mobile? Do they sell it or keep it for their own use? If you keep it for yourself, then many smartphones are launched in a year, so what would they do with so many phones? Today we will answer all these questions.

Do youtubers sell phones?

Actually, it happens that whenever a new smartphone is launched, mobile companies approach popular creators on social media to make their smartphone’s sale and company’s image accessible to everyone. People who have more followers on social media, companies give them their new device to review and ask people to tell about it. When the smartphone is given to any YouTuber or Influencer before its launch, the mobile company gets a paper signed with the concerned person called NDA i.e. Non-Disclosure Agreement. Under this agreement, YouTube can neither sell the smartphone nor gift it to anyone. Under the agreement, the YouTuber or Influencer has to keep the smartphone with himself or return it to the company. It totally depends on the paper signed with the company what you will do with the smartphone.

In most cases, companies give the smartphone to YouTuber or Influencers forever and YouTuber can store it somewhere or use it for his work.

What if the phone is sold?

First thing is that no popular YouTuber or Influencer will do this because in future also he will get new smartphones like the company. Even if someone does this, the company can take legal action against him and the person may have to face a heavy fine. Breaking NDA is not a crime but doing so can result in severe financial loss. All these things decide the terms and condition of NDA.
