Dharamshila Devi, resident of Arrah, Bihar, is the daughter of Awadh Bihari Singh of Janakpuriya village. She was married to Deepak Kumar of Chapra district. Everything went well for a few days but later Deepak started beating Dharamshila a lot. Fed up with her husband’s harassment, she came back to her father’s house, Awadh Bihari, but her luck was bad, after a few days her mother died.

Father kept evil eye on daughter
After the death of Dharamshila’s mother, her father Awadh Bihari Singh started keeping an evil eye on her, Dharamshila has told this in her statement to the police. Troubled by all these things, Dharamshila thought of committing suicide and started going towards the tracks from the railway station. Seeing the train coming from the front, a young man saved Dharamshila. After this the young man asked Dharamshila the reason for her suicide. Dharamshila told everything to that young man. The young man took Dharamshila with him and both of them married her in the Vishwakarma temple on the Gangi and started living in Arrah. Dharamshila told that she also has two children, a son and a daughter.

Dharamshila’s father filed a murder case against son-in-law
When Awadh Bihari did not find Dharamshila after searching, he filed a murder case against Dharamshila’s husband Deepak, father-in-law Pramod Singh and Bhainsur Ravi Shankar. Meanwhile, on October 31, 2020, the police had found a dead body from the banks of Son river in the police station area, which was identified by Avadh Bihari Singh as that of his daughter Dharamsheela Devi. After which the police also got the post-mortem of the body done in Sadar Hospital. The police had also sent Dharamsheela Devi’s husband Deepak to jail on charges of murder.

Police found Dharamshala Devi after 4 years
After 4 years, police found Dharamshala Devi alive. The woman Dharamsheela Devi is a resident of Sahar block. Police recovered Dharamsheela Devi and after making her 164 statement in the court, she got her medically examined at Sadar Hospital. On October 17, 2024, the Town police station recovered Dharamshila Devi from Mirganj locality and handed her over to Chauri police station.

Dharamshala Devi said – Father got a false FIR lodged
Dharamsheela Devi told that the police came to my house in Mirganj and took her to the police station. Police told that your father has filed an FIR against your in-laws considering you dead. My father has implicated the first husband by lying and considering the dead body of another woman as mine and by filing a false FIR. I am married to Ajay Kahar, a resident of Mirganj, Arrah. I have two children. Dharamshila further tells that where the marriage took place, the husband used to beat me a lot, due to which we came to my parents’ house. Two months after coming here, my mother died. After that, my father started planning to have an unhealthy relationship with me and came near me while I was sleeping. He would come and want to have illicit relations.

In this entire matter, ASP KK Singh posted in Peeron sub-division said that a case related to Chauri police station has come to light, where a case was registered in 2020, in which a dead body was found in the Son river after kidnapping, which was identified at home. It was said by the family that she is their daughter. But now the trial has taken place in that case and the accused in it also went to jail as punishment. After this the girl was recovered. Whatever further legal action will be taken after taking guidance from the court. It will be complied with, whereas when the ASP was asked about the case of wrongful abuse by the girl against her father, he said that the statement of the girl will be taken in the Honorable Court, as per the facts that come to light, further legal process will be done on it.
