what is alaska pox
According to scientists, due to its spread in Alaska, it has been given the common name of Alaska Pox. This is a viral infection which is making humans as well as animals victims. Its scientific name has been Orthopox virus. It looks like a brick and when it attacks the body, small pox i.e. rashes appear on the body which if taken seriously can even become wounds. It is being said that since this is a new virus, there is no treatment or medicine for it yet.
This disease weakens the immune system of the body. Alaska pox infects humans through small animals such as squirrels, rabbits and foxes. However, it is difficult to say right now whether it is infecting humans or not. At present the doctors are engaged in further investigation in this regard.
Alaska Pox Symptoms
Most of the symptoms of Alaska Pox are seen on the skin. After pain in the body, red rashes and rashes appear on the skin. These rashes take the form of wounds. Burning sensation and peeling start appearing on the skin. Along with rashes on the skin, swelling in the lymph nodes is a major symptom. There is pain in the joints and muscles of the body. Due to swelling of lymph nodes, swelling starts appearing around the neck. The person starts feeling tired and also gets fever. There is constant pain in the head.
