What Is The Difference Between Ladli Scheme Of Haryana And Madhya Pradesh, Know How To Apply For Both?


There are governments in different states of India that run different schemes for the citizens of their states. Some schemes are for the youth. Some are for women. For some girls. One of these schemes is Ladli Yojana. Which is running in two states of India. This Laadli scheme is being run in Madhya Pradesh and Haryana. Madhya Pradesh’s Ladli Scheme

In Madhya Pradesh, in the year 2007, the then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan had started the Laadli scheme. Under this scheme, a total of Rs 1 lakh 43 thousand is given in installments to girls in Madhya Pradesh. In which ₹ 2000 on admission in sixth class and ₹ 4000 on admission in ninth class. So, a scholarship of ₹ 6000 is given on admission in class 11th and 12th. On taking admission at graduation level after 12th, ₹ 25000 is given in two different installments. Along with this, if the marriage does not take place even after 21 years, then a sum of ₹ 100,000 is given by the government. In Madhya Pradesh, the benefit of Ladli Yojana can be availed only by those girls who were born in January 2006 or after.

Ladli Scheme in Haryana

This scheme was started in Haryana in the year 2006. Its objective was to reduce the gap in the sex ratio of boys and girls. Under this scheme, ₹ 5000 is invested every year in the account by the Haryana Government through a Kisan Patra made in the name of the girl or her mother. This ₹5000 was invested in the account for 18 years. Only after that they can be removed. In Haryana, the benefit of this scheme can be availed only by those girls who were born after August 30, 2005.

The plans of both the states are quite different

If the Laadli schemes running in Madhya Pradesh and Haryana are compared. There is a lot of difference between the plans of the two states. Where more financial benefits are given under this scheme in Madhya Pradesh. So in comparison to this in Haryana it is much less visible. Under this scheme, the Madhya Pradesh government seems to be focusing more on education. Also, to avail the benefits of this scheme in Madhya Pradesh, it is mandatory to have two children. Even if both are girls or one of them is a boy. But in Haryana, this benefit will be available only when there is a second girl after the first girl.

How to take advantage

To avail benefits under Ladli Lakshmi Yojana in Madhya Pradesh, application can be made through cyber café, public service center or any Anganwadi worker. For this, it will be necessary to provide the daughter’s birth certificate, vaccination certificate, native certificate and voter ID card of the parents, ration card of the family. Online application for this scheme can be made through the website https://ladlilaxmi.mp.gov.in/.

To avail the benefits of Ladli Yojana in Haryana, one can apply for it from the Women and Child Development Department office or Anganwadi center or government hospital or any insurance office. For this, Aadhar card, BPL ration card, mobile number, birth certificate, bank details, passport size photo of parents, their identity card, caste certificate, resident certificate will have to be submitted as necessary documents.
