What is the effect of eating beef or animal fat on health, know what experts say


The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has claimed that the reports of the laddus sent as samples from Tirumala Tirupati temple after testing in the lab are shocking. Beef tallow, fish oil and other substandard things have been found in the World Famous Tirupati Laddu. As soon as the report came out, it has created a controversy between the state and the devotees. The laboratory report also claimed the presence of lard (related to pig fat) in the samples. The samples of Tirupati Laddu were sent to the livestock laboratory in Gujarat. The date of receipt of the sample was July 9, 2024 and the laboratory report was of July 16.

Revealed in lab investigation report

The report of focused private laboratory NDDB Calf has revealed that the samples of ghee used in making Tirupati Laddu contained foreign fats including palm oil, fish oil, beef tallow and lard (obtained by extracting adipose tissue of pigs). A copy of the report has been shared by Anam Venkat Ramana Reddy, spokesperson of the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Risk of cancer and heart disease: Eating too much beef increases the risk of cancer and heart disease.

Bad cholesterol: Beef contains a lot of natural fats which can reduce LDL (bad) cholesterol and increase HDL (good) cholesterol. 

Constipation and stomach related problems can occur: Eating beef or animal fat can cause stomach pain, constipation, vomiting, diarrhea and many other problems.

Weight starts increasing rapidly: If you eat beef for a long time, then your weight will also increase rapidly. Eating beef causes digestive problems and also increases the risk of cancer.

Repeatedly heating oil containing fat causes a lot of harm to your body.
