This is the reason why now the Karnataka government has also decided to ban this.

What is there in this?

The Karnataka government has given a statement on this. It is said that the food color used to make Cabbage Manchurian and Cotton Candy look beautiful and colourful, contains Rhodamine-B and Carmoisin. Both these things are harmful for human health.

That is why the Karnataka government has issued an order banning both these things, if any person uses artificial colors while making these two things. If found doing so, strict action will be taken against him. If anyone does this, he may have to face one year in jail and a fine of Rs 10 lakh.

Ban in Goa too

Actually, some Months ago, Gobi Manchurian was also banned in Goa. Let us tell you, at that time councilor Tarak Arolkar from Mapusa, Goa had suggested in the Bodgeshwar Temple Jatra that Cabbage Manchurian should be banned. The rest of the council immediately agreed to this, after which it was decided to ban this dish. However, this is not the first time, before this also in 2022, Cabbage Manchurian was banned.
