WhatsApp AI Avatar Feature: WhatsApp keeps introducing new features one after the other. In this episode, WhatsApp has introduced a new feature, which is going to be very interesting for you. In this feature, users will be able to create a personalized AI avatar for themselves.
This feature has been spotted in WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.24.14.7, which uses a combination of photos shared by users, text prompts, and the AI Llama model.
WABetaInfo gave information
WABetaInfo has given information about this feature and has also shared some screenshots. Users will be able to imagine themselves anywhere… be it space or a forest. This is somewhat reminiscent of Snapchat’s Dreams Selfie feature, which is a photo generated by an AI generator.
According to the information, this feature is going to be optional for you. That means you will be able to use it only after your wish. To enable this feature, you will need to go to the manual in WhatsApp settings and turn it on.
How does this feature work?
With this feature, users will have to take a set of photos. These setup photos will be sent to Meta AI for checking, after which AI will use these photos to create new and unique AI photos. It is important to know that users can remove their setup photo from Meta AI settings at any time. Once the setup photo is taken, users can ask to create their AI photo by typing “Imagine Me” in the Meta AI conversation.
The report also stated that WhatsApp Meta AI was working on a feature to select Llama models. Through this, users will be able to select from different Llama models for their AI interactions. This feature is currently in beta version, but it is expected that it will be launched for all users soon.
