WABetaInfo has given information about the new feature. In the screenshot shared in the report, the new feature is allowing users to add contacts directly to the WhatsApp app. Now you do not have to go out of the platform to save a contact.
How are contacts saved till now?
Till now, if a user wanted to message a new person on WhatsApp, he had to exit WhatsApp and save the number in the phone’s contact list. After this WhatsApp has to be refreshed. After refreshing, the details of that person are visible on WhatsApp. This process can be very frustrating at times. Now WhatsApp wants to fix this problem.
