According to wabetainfo, a website that monitors the development of WhatsApp, WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will give iOS users the option to edit messages. The website has also shared a screenshot in which you can see how an alert user is getting that the message has been edited by the person in front. Under the new feature, you will be able to edit the message only for 15 minutes. That is, you can edit the message for the next 15 minutes from the time it was sent.
Note, under the new feature, you will be able to edit only the message and not the media caption. That is, if you have typed and sent something with a video or photo and it has gone wrong, then you will not be able to edit it again. At present, this feature is being developed for some iOS users, which will then be released for beta version and then in the coming time it will be released for all. The information about when it will be released for Android has not been revealed yet.
