WhatsApp Now Allows Android Users To Edit Forwarded Messages Before Resharing Details Here

WhatsApp Latest Feature: WhatsApp has recently released a feature that allows users to forward media with captions. The update made it easier for users to forward photos with captions to multiple people, eliminating the need to manually add captions each time. However, there was a limit to this feature that users could only share or forward media with original captions. There was no feature to edit the caption or add a new caption. Now the company has added this feature as well.

Whatsapp released new update

WhatsApp has released an update for its recently released feature. The same feature that allows users to forward messages with captions. According to a report by Wabetainfo, a site that tracks all the latest updates around the Meta-owned instant messaging app, WhatsApp has rolled out a new update for the ‘Forward media with caption’ feature. The new update allows users to edit and add captions to forwarded images, videos, GIFs and documents.

How useful will the new feature be?

The update is currently rolled out to Android beta testers 2.23.8.22 and will be rolled out to everyone after testing in future app updates. This new feature will be helpful for users who were having trouble removing captions from media files forwarded on WhatsApp. This update will be very useful when the caption is not accurate or if users want to add any other detail. With this update, WhatsApp is making it easier for users to share media on the platform.

It has also come to light that some beta testers have complained of problems viewing status updates or downloading videos on the platform. It is expected that WhatsApp will fix these flaws in the next update.
