It has also been claimed that keeping in mind the privacy of users, pictures or videos of locked chats will not be automatically downloaded in the phone’s gallery.
How to enable chat lock on WhatsApp?

- Go to the profile section of your WhatsApp contact.
- Scroll down and tap Chat Lock.
