Wheat Production In India: The current figures of Rabi crops are coming out. He has given relief to the central government, farmers, businessmen and common people. 11.20 crore can be produced
Wheat production is expected to be 11.20 crore tonnes. Compared to last year, the area under rabi crops has increased in the country this year. The crop has been sown in 720.68 lakh hectares in the country, whereas in the same period in the year 2021-22, the area under Rabi crops was 697.98 lakh hectares. If you look at the figures, the growth of rabi crops has been recorded in about 23 lakh hectares in the last year and in the current year. This increase in sowing is 3.25 percent.
The area under wheat has increased by 1.39 lakh hectares.

Wheat has been sown in 2.52 lakh hectare in Rajasthan, 1.03 lakh hectare in Maharashtra, 93 thousand hectare in Uttar Pradesh, 94 thousand hectare in Bihar, 43 thousand hectare in Gujarat, 47 thousand hectare in Chhattisgarh, 9 thousand in Jammu and Kashmir, 3 thousand hectare in Assam. The special thing is that the area under wheat has increased in all these states. The central government is happy with these figures.
Wheat area decreased here
It is not that the area under wheat sowing has increased in all the states. There are many such states in the country, where the area under wheat has decreased very fast. The states where the decrease has been recorded. Among them, 4.15 lakh hectares are included in Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand 31 thousand, Punjab 18 thousand, Haryana 11 thousand, Himachal 10 thousand, West Bengal 9 thousand, Uttarakhand 2 thousand, Karnataka 2 thousand hectare.
