In such a situation, once again the crisis of crop loss has emerged in front of the farmers.
Temperature increased by 10 degree Celsius

At the same time, the increased heat in the weather in the last few days has increased the tension of the wheat farmers. Agricultural experts say that excess heat has never been good for wheat. The yield of mustard, gram can be slightly better. But excessive heat or heat stroke proves to be harmful.
In other states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, the temperature has increased up to 10 degree Celsius. A few days ago where the minimum temperature was 3 to 4 degree Celsius. Now it has reached 14 degree Celsius or more. The way bumper sowing of wheat has been done in the country. He is expected to produce records. If the heat wave continues or the heat is high, there can be a lot of damage to wheat production.
Last year, this much production was reduced due to heat
Last year, the records of the central government regarding wheat production had come to the fore. According to the records of the central government, the Russo-Ukraine war and heat wave were considered to be the major reasons for the decrease in wheat production. In these too, wheat production was affected due to heat wave. According to the data, till December 15, about 180 lakh tonnes of wheat and 111 lakh tonnes of rice were available in the central pool. Due to short supply, wheat production is to come down to 106.84 million tonnes in the crop year 2021-22 (July-June). A year ago, this year was 10 crore 95.9 lakh tonnes. Now the new wheat has to be purchased. It will start from April 2023.
Expected to be 11. million tonnes of wheat this year
In the current season, the area under Rabi crops has increased rapidly. Crops have been sown in more than 3.25 crore hectare area. Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan are among the major wheat producing regions in the country. The central government has estimated that 112 million tonnes of wheat crop is expected in this season. It will be 50 lakh tonnes more than last year. Three reasons were considered for the good increase in the production of wheat. Firstly, the area under cultivation has increased a bit, secondly, according to the yield, till now the weather was perfect. Third, the area under wheat has increased due to introduction of new varieties.
