Anurag Kashyap and Imtiaz Ali Daughters: Anurag Kashyap’s daughter Alia Kashyap remains in the news for her personal life. She also makes headlines for her podcast. Recently, her childhood friend appeared in her podcast. This friend is none other than director Imtiaz Ali’s daughter Ida Ali.
Ida and Alia are like sisters
In their podcast Young, Dumb & Anxious, Alia and Ida talked about their bonding. They told that they are like sisters and grew up together. They have also done schooling together. Along with this, they also told their kidnapping story. Alia said that technically they were not kidnapped, because we were at home. We were part of a theft. Then Ida said that she did not know what could have happened because she was held hostage.
Star kids were at home with their grandmother
Alia told that both of them lived in the same building. One day her parents had gone out together and the children were at Anurag’s house. She said, ‘My and her parents had gone out. Ida was at my house and my grandmother was there. My grandmother was taking care of us and so was our sister, who was working at our house at that time.’
House help had held me hostage
Alia further said, ‘The house help locked my grandmother in a room after my parents left. They had put tape on my and Ida’s mouth and tied our hands to the chair. We were crying and tensed because we thought we were going to die.’
‘The house help was stealing in our house. She was stealing money, jewellery from our house. But thankfully my mother had forgotten something at home and she came back in 15 minutes. She saw everything and called everyone back. My father, Ida’s parents, everyone came back. Everyone was very tense. It was traumatic, but it would have been more traumatic if we were alone all the time.’
After this Ida says that now when we look back, we have a fun story to tell. Alia said that now we laugh remembering that episode.
