Actually, this incident is from the time when the actor was shooting for the 1987 film ‘Aag Hi Aag’, which was being produced by Pahlaj Nihalani. The director of the film was Shibu Mitra.

Along with Dharmendra, the film also had stars like Shatrughan Sinha, Neelam Kothari, Chunky Pandey and Gulshan Grover. One day, when Dharmendra was shooting one of his scenes, something happened that made him angry.

Actually, Dharmendra had to give not one or two but 15 retakes for that scene. Due to which, the actor got so furious that he said a lot of things to the director on the set.

This story was revealed by Pahlaj Nihalani himself. He told that, in that film, the director had discussed the story line of the film with Dharmendra. In such a situation, he got retakes done until he got the perfect scene.

Dharmendra got so angry at this that he said to the director, ‘Pahlaj, am I a newcomer that you are making me take take after take…’ After this, somehow the actor was calmed down and the scene was completed.
