The monsoon session of the Lok Sabha began on 22 July. This session was scheduled to continue till 12 August, but on Friday itself, Speaker Om Birla adjourned the proceedings of the Lok Sabha indefinitely. After this, Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar also adjourned the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha indefinitely.
