Meenakshi Lekhi had urged the youth to chant Bharat Mata ki Jai. She became angry at the people present at the program when she did not get a good response from them.

In the viral video, Minister Lekhi points towards a girl wearing a yellow dress and says that if she feels embarrassed to say Bharat Mata ki Jai, then she should leave the program. Meenakshi Lekhi also said, “I ask you a direct question, isn’t India your mother?”
