Kanwadia and the police present there create a ruckus when the Kanwad is broken

On 31st July, around 10 AM, a Kanwariya’s Kanwar was broken after being hit by a bike on the highway near Bhakri. Angry Kanwariyas created a ruckus and blocked a road on the highway. Police reached the spot as soon as they got the information. Inspector in charge Gajendra Kumar and CO Ranjan Kumar Sharma pacified the Kanwariyas by explaining to them. To bring another Kanwar, two constables were sent to Haridwar by car along with three Kanwariyas. Then, after 40 minutes, traffic on the highway could be resumed.
Pankaj Sharma, a resident of Bilgaon village of Morena district of Madhya Pradesh, was returning to his village with eight companions carrying a Kanwar from Haridwar. Near Bhakri on the highway, Pankaj Sharma was hit by a bike. Due to this, he fell on the road and the Kanwar broke. The villagers caught the bike riders Mohan and Ashu, residents of Atalpur Lodha, and handed them over to the police.
Angry Kanwadis created a ruckus and blocked the highway. They were demanding to get Gangajal again from Haridwar. On this, two policemen were sent with the Kanwadis to bring Gangajal. Two Kanwadis are waiting for them at Bharatri.
