In a letter sent to shareholders, Netflix has claimed that when Netflix slashed subscription plans by up to 60 percent in India in 2021, the company saw an annual growth of 30 percent. With this strategy, the company’s revenue was to grow from 19 percent to 24 percent in 2022. Hence, the company says that it had implemented the same strategy in 116 other countries to get a better response in terms of revenue and user base.
