A report published in the Nature Astronomy journal said that C-type asteroids rich in volatile and organic elements were probably the main source of water on Earth. The organic matter found in the particles of Ryugu indicates this. Scientists speculated that such elements might have existed in the outer solar system at that time. Ryugu’s particles are undoubtedly the only material in the solar system that has absolutely no adulteration. These particles can be the reason for the presence of water on Earth. But this is not the final truth. Scientists are still searching for the truth as to where did water come from on Earth?
