How to make delicious chusta at home
Raj Nandan Chaudhary, who runs a mutton and chicken dhaba at Noon Ka Chauraha, says that chusta is cooked exactly like mutton. To make it at home, it is washed well along with mutton. Hot water can also be used for cleaning. At the same time, according to convenience, people get it cut into small pieces at the shop itself. It is necessary to clean it well. After this, heat oil in a pan and fry onion, garlic and ginger in it. Add mutton and chusta in it and cook it till it becomes completely soft. After this, add garam masala, cumin, coriander powder, red chili powder and salt and mix it well. After this, cook it on low flame for a little more than 01 hour. After this, this tasty and delicious dish will be ready.

Dhaba operator Raj Nandan further tells Local18 that Chusta is cooked with mutton on low flame for a long time, which makes it very tasty and delicious. Talking about the price of Chusta, its prices are different at different places. However, it is sold according to the weight or size of the piece. Its starting price is 60 rupees. While a normal piece is available for 70 rupees. Its maximum price is up to 90 rupees per piece.

He further says that the demand for chusta is very high here, so people consume about 50 kg of mutton daily at the small shops and carts located at Nun’s Square. On Saturdays and Sundays, this figure reaches 80 kg. People also wait for several hours to eat chusta. At present, its demand is low during the month of Saavan, but there is a lot of demand on other days.
