Ban imposed because of women
In the year 2021, Taliban formed its own government in Afghanistan by removing Ashraf Ghani’s government. Since then there have been many changes in Afghanistan. At present, the power in Afghanistan is running according to the Taliban. Taliban has also banned showing IPL in Afghanistan.
The reason given towards Taliban is because cheer leaders dance in IPL. And female audience is present in the ground. Therefore, the Taliban government has banned the telecast of IPL in Afghanistan.
