BJP Central Election Committee meeting: Bharatiya Janata Party’s Lok Sabha candidates list may be delayed. Actually, the meeting of BJP’s Central Election Committee may be postponed. Earlier this meeting was to be held on March 8. But it can be postponed due to PM Modi’s visit to Assam. It is being told that now this meeting will be held on March 10. In such a situation, there may be a delay in coming out of BJP’s second list.
BJP has called a core committee meeting today. In this meeting, names of candidates from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana were discussed. According to sources, the seats of Bihar and remaining states may be discussed tomorrow evening.
BJP announced 195 seats
Earlier, BJP had released the first list of 195 candidates on March 2. However, two of these candidates returned the tickets. Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh refused to contest elections from Asansol. Apart from this, BJP candidate from Barabanki Upendra Singh Rawat also returned his ticket.
In the BJP list, candidates have been announced for 195 seats in 16 states and 2 union territories. PM Modi in this list, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh is also named. Not only this, names of 34 Union Ministers have also been included in the first list.
BJP has announced the names of 24 women in this list. Apart from this, three former CMs have also been fielded in the election. BJP has canceled tickets of 34 MPs in the first list. Of these, 7 are from Madhya Pradesh and 5 from Rajasthan.
BJP has fielded Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia from Guna seat. Along with this, former CM Shivraj Singh has been given ticket from Vidisha. Smriti Irani will contest again from Amethi.
