Then around 1739, this diamond was brought back to India by Indian kings and finally in 1846, when the British conquered Punjab, they snatched this diamond from Maharaja Duleep Singh of Punjab. It is said that when this diamond was snatched from him, he was only 5 years old. India still demands Britain to return the Kohinoor diamond that was looted from India.
